There's too much of everything these days.
Good photographers, bad photographers, great cameras, ultra gadgets, smart people and their thoughtful articles, famous artists, spoiled celebrities, fantastic photoshopped chicks.
Too much noise.
If Dostoevsky is alive today, he will be probably writing " 10 great tips to become famous writer" kind of shit just to earn for his bread.
So what's the point?
The old way of doing things is not valid anymore.
If you think that repeating the steps of some famous person from the long gone history will get you anywhere, it won't.
So you must figure out new ways, but guess what? You can't do that if you're continually feeding yourself with pieces of information and images from that big pool of recycled noise.
You need to isolate yourself.
To stop reading articles that are repeating the same sentences, same advice. Stop looking at the same kind of images.
Trying to be seen in this see of noise with your own agenda, project or opinion is like a digging a tunnel with a spoon.
Every single effort you make, every single step you take is just one small stone on the shore. And what you wish to achieve is to build a shiny and expensive palace that can be seen from the far surrounded by the waves of noise. A castle that stands out.
If you are not prepared to dig long and hard with a small spoon, I have a proposal for you.
You can just throw the spoon into the sea and enjoy the rest of your life.
It's not kind of giving up, it's smart.
I just love to shoot pictures and write.
One spoon at a time.
PEACE & LIGHT
